Youth Exchange

A youth exchange allows young people (between the ages of 13 and 30) from different countries to meet, live together and work on a certain topic (e.g. sustainability, environment, human rights, activism). A youth exchange can last from 5 to 21 days.  Our youth exchanges take place in Trofaiach, Austria, or in other cities in Europe. Participants experience group exercises, role plays, debates, outdoor activities, creative workshops or plan public social experiments. They discuss, cook, dance, dream, laugh and often even plan the future together.

But you don't just have memories and new friendships, the skills and experiences you have learned are recognized by a Youthpass certificate. If you are interested in our past projects, please visit the section E+ mobility projects.

Mobility for professionals

These projects support the professional development of youth workers and take place in the form of seminars, training courses, study trips or networking meetings. The goal is to discuss access, professional experience, ideas and concepts on a wide variety of topics at the European level and to develop new ones together. Many youth workers who mainly volunteer their time often have little opportunity for further training. Erasmus + therefore supports projects that contribute to the development of new skills, methods and more knowledge in youth work. Above all, projects are supported that reach marginalized young people, promote cultural diversity and develop the common values of freedom, tolerance and respect for human rights, as well as projects that increase media skills, critical thinking and entrepreneurial spirit of young people.
