The Youth Can Lead Youth project aims to provide the younger generation with tools to enhance their leadership skills.

The project seeks to identify and showcase the best examples of non-formal education methodologies from across Europe that can support the integration of young migrants and refugees. Additionally, it aims to empower young participants from previous initiatives to become youth workers, utilizing these innovative methodologies. By fostering creative approaches to learning and encouraging a positive self-image, the project promotes empowerment, social inclusion, and psychological resilience.

The collected best practices will form the basis of a methodology designed to help youth workers integrate these approaches into their daily interactions with young migrants, refugees, and individuals from disadvantaged backgrounds. This methodology focuses on cultivating creative competencies and incorporating techniques related to biography and identity work. Such methods are particularly valuable for building understanding and connections among young people from diverse cultural and social backgrounds.

Together we will be working on the following results in the next 2 years:

1. Youth Can Lead Youth Methodology

The "Youth Can Lead Youth Methodology" is designed to empower young individuals who have previously participated in projects to transition into youth worker roles. This methodology encompasses two primary areas: Competence Development and Awareness Enhancement.

Awareness Enhancement involves:
1. Identity Development
2. Sensitization Training
3. Critical Thinking
4. Addressing the Cycle of Discrimination

Competence Development includes:
1. Storytelling
2. Creative Drama
3. Peer-to-Peer Learning
4. Effective Use of Digital Tools

This approach will be implemented in the Long-Term Training Activity (LTTA), targeting young individuals selected from previous project participants. Those with prior experience as participants will now be equipped with comprehensive skills to function effectively as youth workers.

2. Video Tutorials

The objective of the video tutorials is to bolster the program and methodology using digital tools. These tutorials, created through collaborative efforts, will later serve as valuable resources for various organizations and youth. Each video will meticulously demonstrate how to apply the methodologies, ensuring clarity and precision. The tutorials will be organized into eight distinct segments, corresponding to the chapters of the methodology.

3. Web Platform

The primary goal of the Web Platform is to extend the reach of our initiatives to a broad audience of young people across Europe. This platform aims to enhance the visibility and sustainability of the project, enabling widespread tracking and participation. Additionally, the platform will consolidate all project outputs, presenting the developed methodology in an accessible course format.
